What is your cancellation policy?

We want to offer the most flexible experience possible and offer full cancellation on all bookings more than 24 hours prior to the booking start time.

How do I cancel my booking?

Please contact the Spacestowork team to cancel your booking. Once this is completed, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email.

Do I pay any fees for my booking?

You don’t pay any fees for making your booking, just the price of the space plus any extras you have chosen.

How do I get a VAT invoice?
Down arrow

Only the host can supply a VAT invoice, however, to make the process as simple as possible, an email address will be included in your Spacestowork receipt email that you can send a request for a VAT invoice to.

How do I check in at my venue?

Simply show the host your booking confirmation email to gain access to the space you have booked.

How do I sign up?

Click on the account icon in the top right corner on desktop or click on the menu in the top left corner on mobile and click on ‘Account’ and fill out the sign-up form.  Be sure to complete your profile when you sign up.

How do I ask any GDPR related questions or make GDPR related requests?

What commission to you charge?
Down arrow

We charge 15% (inclusive of VAT) of the gross value of the sale.

How do I check people in at my venue and review my bookings?
Down arrow

You will have access to a live, dynamic booking summary screen in your host profile – please check this on a regular basis to see which bookings you have coming up. You will also receive an email every time a booking is made or amended. Your guests with show you their booking confirmation email to gain access to your space.

How do I create a listing?

When you become a Spacestowork host you will be given access to a Host profile and will be provided with an onboarding pack to help create and maintain your listings. The Spacestowork team is also available to support you with this.

What capacity management capabilities does your application offer?

We have full capacity management capabilities built in, including automatic booking acceptance, to reduce administration effort and to maximise the guest experience.

How does your payment process work?

When a booking is made, a payment is pre-authorised by our payment provider, Stripe. When the guest has used your space, your payment is automatically forwarded to your nominated bank account, minus our commission, minimising any payment related administration. This will take around 7 days to reach your account.

How do I become a host?

To become a host simply visit the ‘Become a host’ page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and fill out the form. We will contact you to discuss your request.
